Dr. Michael A. Quiñones –– a nationally recognized surgeon offering the latest techniques to prevent, detect, and treat a variety of illnesses –– recently launched his official web site, www.DrQmd.com.
“I’m proud of the new site,” Dr. Quiñones said. “It’s one more way to give the DeKalb community access to the medical information they need and compassionate, state-of-the-art care.”
According to the site, “Dr. Quiñones provides compassionate care in the treatment of breast disease, gallbladder disease, endocrine disease, and all types of hernias. He is also a recognized expert in the surgical treatment of cancer.”
Dr. Quiñones is published in nationally recognized journals and has consistently been named a Top Surgeon by the Consumers Research Council of America. He has also been a consistent Top Doctor in Atlanta magazine.
The web site features NextMD, which allows users to make online appointment requests, add personal demographic information, input patient and family medical and social history, and message Dr. Quiñones via a secure email connection.
A leader in his field, Dr. Quiñones has served as chief of general surgery, chief of surgery, vice chief of staff, and chief of staff. He was recently named to DeKalb Medical's board of directors.
